Willi Schuler
From 1975 to 1979, Willi Schuler completed his training as a bodywork and vehicle constructor at Gebr. Wackenhut, Nagold. He then worked as a skilled worker at the production of semi-trailers and trailers. From 1981 to 1983 he worked as a skilled worker at Boysen in Altensteig and was involved in the production of special silencer/muffler systems for locomotives and nuclear power plants. From 1983 to 1985, Willi Schuler completed further training as a master body and vehicle builder in Konstanz/Germany, after which he worked as a master craftsman at ASA in Altensteig for body repair work until 1987. From 1987 to 1992 he was an operations manager at AK Spezialfahrzeug GmbH in Neuweiler, in planning and constructing of special vehicles / horse transporters / mobile homes. In 1993 Willi Schuler established the company Schuler Fahrzeugbau GmbH in Neuweiler. In 1996 the company headquarters were relocated to Ebhausen. Today he has been the manager of Schuler Leasing & Logistik GmbH since 2003. He has been also the manager of Schuler Spezialfahrzeuge GmbH in Altensteig, together with his son Marcel Schuler, since 2010.
Marcel Schuler
Marcel Schuler, who grew up in his father’s business, often attended racetracks with customers as a child. This made him enthusiastic about motorsport. At the age of 15 he drove various Formula vehicles, up to the German Formula 3 Championship. In 2003, at the age of 16, he began training as a bodywork and vehicle construction mechanic in his father’s company and successfully completed it. Since 2011, Marcel Schuler has been the manager at Schuler Spezialfahrzeug GmbH in Altensteig.
